Privacy Policy
Effective / last updated: July 31, 2026
LimoCircle is owned and operated by LAX Curbside Limo, LLC, a California limited liability company (“LimoCircle,” “we,” “us”). Contact: support@limocircle.com.
This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you use limocircle.com, the LimoCircle Android app, and related booking or driver tools. It is based on how the product is implemented today. Where a fact is not yet confirmed (for example, whether California Consumer Privacy Act thresholds apply to the company), we say so rather than inventing a conclusion.
1. Categories of information we collect
- Account & contact: name, email, phone, password (stored as a one-way hash), role (customer/driver/admin).
- Booking & trip: pickup, stops, destination, optional coordinates/place IDs, flight/terminal notes, booking status and history, tips and fare amounts.
- Driver profile & compliance uploads: vehicle details, profile/vehicle photos, and private document uploads (for example license, insurance, registration, TCP/airport permits) for admin review.
- Driver location (active use only): precise location while a driver is online or sharing an assigned ride. The Android app does not declare or use background location permission.
- Payments: Stripe customer/session/ payment identifiers and transaction records. Card numbers and CVV are processed by Stripe and are not stored in LimoCircle application databases.
- Device & notifications: session cookies, optional device fingerprints for trusted-device login, web push subscriptions, native push device tokens, and notification preferences.
- Support & ops: contact/feedback messages, email delivery logs, and audit logs (may include IP address and user agent).
- Referrals: referral/partner codes and attribution fields attached to bookings when present.
We have not found a third-party background-check vendor integration in the current codebase. Admin approval status is recorded by LimoCircle administrators.
2. Sources
Information comes from you (forms, uploads, permissions), your device (location when enabled, push tokens), booking activity, administrators reviewing driver documents, payment processors (Stripe), and maps/email/push providers that process data on our behalf.
3. Purposes of use
- Create and secure accounts; authenticate sessions
- Quote, book, assign, track, and complete prearranged rides
- Communicate about bookings, documents, and support
- Process payments, tips, refunds, and driver earnings records
- Review driver eligibility documents submitted to the platform
- Fraud prevention, security, and audit logging
- Operate push and email notifications according to preferences
- Attribute referral/partner bookings when codes are used
4. Categories of recipients / service providers
- Stripe (payments)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Google Maps Platform (places, geocoding, routing) when used
- Firebase Cloud Messaging / Web Push infrastructure (notifications)
- Cloud object storage for uploaded files
- Hosting/infrastructure providers for the web and API
- Assigned drivers and customers, as needed to fulfill a booking
- Platform administrators
- Legal authorities when required by law
5. Location practices
Drivers may grant precise location while using the app to go online or share live location for an assigned ride. Customers may optionally share current location for address entry. LimoCircle does not use Android background location permission. Turning off location or going offline stops new location updates according to the current app design.
6. Driver documents
Private driver compliance documents are stored for administrator review and are not served through public unauthenticated URLs. Access requires an authenticated session and admin or owning-driver authorization. Profile and vehicle photos may be served on public profile surfaces by design.
LimoCircle records admin review status. Statements that a document is “verified” by an independent third party are not claimed by this policy unless separately confirmed.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store Stripe identifiers and booking/payment status needed for receipts, refunds, disputes, and earnings. We do not store full card numbers or CVV in LimoCircle databases.
8. Push notifications
If you enable alerts, we store web push subscriptions and/or native device tokens to deliver booking and account notifications. Tokens are bound to your signed-in role and are deactivated on logout and during account deletion (native tokens are deactivated in the deletion transaction). You can change notification preferences in-app where that UI is available.
9. Security
We use HTTPS for production web/API traffic, hashed passwords, httpOnly session cookies in production, role-based authorization for private documents, and access logging for sensitive admin actions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Retention
We do not publish invented fixed retention calendars. In practice:
- Session cookies expire after a limited period (currently designed around 7 days).
- Account deletion anonymizes or removes account/profile fields and cancels pending notifications, while retaining booking economics, payment, refund, ledger, and audit records needed for finance, disputes, and compliance.
- Exact statutory retention periods for passenger-carrier, tax, and payment records are [UNVERIFIED] pending counsel review.
11. Account deletion and other choices
Customers and drivers can request account deletion after signing in. See Account deletion. Deletion requires your current password and confirmation phrase. An email address alone is not enough. Unresolved rides, refunds, payouts, open support cases, or active driver subscriptions may block deletion until resolved.
12. Children
LimoCircle is intended for adults arranging professional chauffeur services. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that higher age is required). We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
13. California privacy disclosures
Whether LAX Curbside Limo, LLC currently meets CCPA/CPRA applicability thresholds (revenue, volume of California consumers, or sale/share criteria) is [UNVERIFIED] and requires owner/accountant confirmation.
Regardless of threshold status, California users may contact support@limocircle.com to request access to or correction of account information, or to request account deletion subject to the blockers and retention rules above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights that apply to you.
We do not currently operate a verified “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link because whether the company “sells” or “shares” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under CCPA definitions is [UNVERIFIED]. We have not found advertising SDKs such as Meta/Google Ads in the primary app source; analytics beyond server logs and audit trails is also limited in-repo. Owner and counsel should confirm vendor contracts before any “we do not sell or share” statement is made absolute.
14. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. The effective date above will be revised when the posted policy changes.
